Success comes when you stop looking down, when you start to see the opportunities that are right in front of you.
I constantly hear people saying
“I wish I had more money, I wish I could be wealthy, I wish I could to successful.
Well all I can tell you is that the wish fairy is pretty busy and if you want more money, wealth and success, take action and make it happen.
When I started I didn’t have all the answers, I had no idea about the technology required to be an internet entrepreneur, I didn’t know how to go about getting the right people to take on the tasks, I didn’t have any clients, or a list of ready waiting potentials. It was a risk, and the alternative was I stayed where I was, working the day job with all the uncertainties of keeping a job for life.
I wanted more, I wanted to expand my mind and grow. I wanted to make a difference to my own life and to other people’s lives. I just didn’t have the toolkit to start it off. There wasn’t a little gift box delivered to my door that said
“here you are Linda, all the knowledge, experience, skills, documentation, contracts, technology and content that you will need to make you successful”
I spent years trying on different types of hat to see which one fitted and was right for me. it was a learning curve but it was also down to me. I was holding myself back with Fear.
Fear of the unknown, fear of failure and all I could see was the big gap there in front of me. There wasn’t anything to tell me I could do this all by myself. With No Product, No Clients, No BluePrint for Success, No Idea What to Charge, No idea which training courses to take (so I took almost everything on the planet).
And the breakthrough came when I started to believe that I was a valuable asset, that what I can do for people is high value and that I had become a success. I had stopped looking down and I was certainly seeing the opportunities. Focussing on what I wanted to achieve instead of running away from the fear – by using every excuse in the book!
Most of the stuff I have done in my life has been uncomfortable at some point but I had determination running through my veins.
At 15 I was in a car crash, in hospital for over a year strapped to a bed – I was told I wouldn’t walk again.
I was a single mum and I struggled like you wouldn’t believe, but I just kept that determination to be a great mother and provider
I have lived in poverty and kept the belief that I would make something of my life
Was it all easy, NO, Was it worth the determination and self belief, YES because for the last 3 decades I have had a good life. I enrich my life with knowledge, learning and sharing. And that is what I am offering you – sharing the fantastic wealth of knowledge that has achieved so much success. Not just in terms of money, but in quality life style, health and happiness.
You don’t become a success one evening but you do make the decision in an instant and that is what takes on the driver to your success.
You make the decision, you let go of the fear and you take action.
Success comes from letting go of baggage, from clearing out the clutter and making space, from investing in yourself knowing that you are your own best asset and then taking continuous, focussed action.
If you are feeling like you are sinking, welcome that feeling because that is what creates the breakthrough. When you learn of all the most wonderful success stories, you will realise that most of these successful people broke down before they broke through.
You have the choice, You can be what you want to be, You can live the life you want, It is your choice. When all the energy and all the work and the investment in yourself comes together, that’s when you break through
You don’t set out to change the world, you change YOU, you change your thoughts and your attitude – and then it begins – the ripple effect.
